Vibrasphere boys treat us with a gargantuan album!

Honestly I wasn't expecting anything as colossal as this. I remember listening to their album "lime structure" on few occasions and apart from the classic "manzazilla", the album left me quite cold.

Still I knew they had the potential so I went and bought this. And I haven't regretted my decision one bit...

They've taken progressive trance to a new level. It's so nice when a few times a year you hear something fresh and innovative and say to yourself "this is a landmark album, this will be copied, this will generate a whole new musical phenomenon".

The album starts off with beautiful relaxing tunes. Heading north is good warm-up for the absolute epic sonic workout called "erosion". I tell you, the best track I've heard all year! It has gentle bass, and very clever use of female vocals. She doesn't sing at all, it's more of an effect to create melody. The track erupts in the end to a mindblowing melody.

The following few tracks take a more electroish route. The electro sound isn't very dominant, there's a fine balance between melodies and dirty electro sweeps. Vibrasphere boys make the structure very multi-layered, to keep the listener in amazement.

From "forever imaginary" onwards you can take your dancing shoes off. Special mention goes to "ensueno", the acoustic guitar is sublime, I dare you not to melt. Great after hours stuff for DJs I think.

THE album of 2007, go fetch.
