Great musical ideas, but the constant use of the kickdrum in all but the first track and the use of the same samples and synths in every single track makes this release seem very repetitive and uncreative. The first track is the best, and the rest do sound nice but the mood is inconsistent; some are more funky, others are more psychedelic. Overall this release is worth a listen or two, but it is not an essential must-have.

This album I have been less sure about. Let's start on a positive note. I really dig the artwork and the booklet. Nice and I wish we'd see this more often. The music? Let me put it like this; Track 5 Manzanilla gives me the love munchies and instant desire to crash in the shade under a tree at a festival with a beatiful girl ... :o) This track is so chilling, filling & relaxing you just want to share the tranquility it provides with the opposite sex.

Which is also why I am a little insecure about the album. I guess this would be labelled progressive but I would much rather hear the first half of this album on the chill out stage. First and simply because many tracks here are downbeat. Secondly because even a faster track like Lemon Phase has a relaxing edge that sends me trancing within rather that dancing-out. To hear this track at a chill out stage at night?! It'd rock my butt of!

The second half of the cd provides faster tracks and I guess playing these at the chill out stage would be considered out inappropriate. Unfortunately, I am not 100 pct positive they would rock me at mainstage.

The verdict? Well, I have nothing against this album, but overall I guess it's not a favourite either. Still, if you like progressive you should check out this albun simply for the first half and its different type of progressive. If you want head-on progressive trance go for Son Kite instead.

In any case, be sure to get Manzanilla for the ladies ...

What to say... Lime Structure gives us 9 beauties from Vibrasphere. Progressive psytrance at its best. The entire album is utterly chilling though there are some uptempo trakcs as well, and a few that actually remind me of 'normal' progressive trance. Great album, and some great work on the cover and booklet of the cd as well.
