Victor Calderone - The Drive

This is as good as it gets kids!

'The Drive' is a relentless rolling tribal jugganaut which just builds and builds. Beginning with a classic NYC tom loop it adds looping hand-claps, subtle synth touches and a couple of female vocals snippets till a filtered cow-bell riff comes in that cut's through any mix. The track sounds amazing on it's own or under or on top of something else.

it was only after about 10 plays of this in the mix that I realised that it doesn't even have a bassline! But it really does not need one as the low tom sounds carry the track home - perfection!
