Cited by many as having the potential to become the next ‘Finally’, at the very least this is set to become somewhat of a cult classic for the soulful US garage fraternity. This very credible piece of modern dance is an entirely original production - no samples here matey – built round a ceaseless yet simple bassline, funky percussion riff and soothing piano chords. The vocal is simple and the song is just about as good as anything else you’ll hear all year, but the killer lick is the repetitive “put cha clothes back on, leave something” chant that could well become something of mantra given wider exposure. There’s four soul-iced mixes to edify the tastebuds that’ll shortly be joined by some new Louie Vega remixes too – he was so impressed he asked to mix the single.
