Great EP from Mikael Stavöstrand under his Vita alias. On his "Vita EP" you get 4 ultra-deep Techno tracks that consist of 4/4 beats combined with glitchy rhythms and deep, dark aquatic soundscapes. Sounds like music you would listen to while exploring the deepest, darkest ocean. You can just imagine the strange deep sea creatures floating around you. Top quality cerebral material that I highly recommend for fans of Dub Techno sounds.
Wow. This is a deep, dubby venture into the Twilight Zone... Vita explores the depths of the sea, or maybe space itself, or pehaps they are just tapping deep within the brain, but at any rate, this is a lush package of 4 consistent tracks of deep-vibe dub, laced with some record clicks and pops similar to POLE. Actually, this is a bit more similar to Jan Jelineks' loop-finding-jazz-records in its smooth and sophisticated delivery. But Vita really reminds me more of Mikkel Metal's Echocord releases. Deep, reverberated sounds with a pulsing beat. Don't pass this one up if you're into minimal dub.
