A truly amazing Detroit techno album. I'm not very keen on funky records, I usually find them to be over sentimental, but this is of a whole other league. The string are simply beautifull, put together with a minimal amount of sounds to support them, none of the tracks are overloaded with sounds. The result is the tracks are kept straight but very funky.
I bought the album for Nite Gruv but the the other tracks are breathtaking as well, I recognised a lot of the from sets Trish used to play at Fuse club in Brussels when she was resident there. It shows you the state techno was in back in 97.
This is truly a first class album.
