Way Out West Featuring Miss Joanna Law* - The Gift

One of those records that I fell in love with the first time I heard it, and have never got tired of hearing. A beautiful groove, echoey piano stabs and the vocal sample breaking through at exactly the right moment - a true classic in my book. Bizarrely, now in its fourth year of service as background music on the BBC kids' consumer advice show "Short Change". Obviously someone in the department is trying to give the kids a bit of musical education into the bargain - I approve!
