Indeed, Thunderflash is an attention worthy re-make of Beltram's Energy Flash. Take your notepads out and scribble down how it gets done. The way in which they recreate that powerful bass line Energy Flash had with a 303 is amazing. Not really a furious track, but powerful and pumping nonetheless. The crowd goes crazy every time it drops, especially when they notice a resemblance it has with Beltram's classic. Thunderflash, unlike the tune it draws inspiration from, doesn't have a melodic break with vocal samples of any sort, just non stop vintage acid techno, which while sounding pretty serious, still successfully delivers a healthy dosage of entertainment and definitely throws you back to the "good old days", whether you are aware of it or not!
