Man, I fully agree with just about every part of Daniacid's review below! Number one, while Batrave is indeed awesome, it is, as Daniacid states, a great example of "corny"-style acid, something that you play to get a laugh (though again, the track does kick ass). By contrast, Buzzbomb is just an absolute RIPPER, and as a long-time fan of the Dead Kennedys (at least while Jello was in the band, that is), I can't imagine a cooler fusion of different music styles that I love (i.e., hard acid techno and hardcore punk rock). Wow, this track is just incredible; BLAZING 303s, a very fast tempo, and that unmistakable DK sound, including Jello's unique vocals, permeating the background. AMAZING.

Secondly, why aren't there more labels like WahWah (one of my absolute FAVORITE labels), or Skankadelic, or Organgrinder, that put out uptempo, screaming 303 monsters of this sort?!? Sure, we can always count on SUF, and until recently Routemaster (are they still active? Last new release in 2010, and I know Lawrie AKA Curvepusher spends a lot of time mastering these days....) and a few others to consistently put out quality acid techno; but I certainly wish that there were tons of other labels cranking out this stuff.

Granted, there are a handful of new labels which seem to have much promise in this regard. See, for example, Austin Corrosive's "Corrosive" label, or "Avinit" records, among a couple others (mainly under the SUF Collective umbrella, I should say). But again, I do agree that there simply needs to be more stuff like this -- ON VINYL, of course. :)

Great review, though, Daniacid; as I said, I couldn't agree more!

Peace,
A 303 Lover
:)

to the batrave........ Is wicked, but I'm still wandering why nobody remembers or bangs on about buzzbomb!!!!!?????!!!!! -- batrave kicks arse in a corny kind of way -- whereas buzzbomb fucks things up proper dirty London punk tekno squat Party style ,over the top 303 mayhem kind of way !!! Mixing the riff from Dead Kennedys - buzzbomb ,and the vocal line from D.K's well paid scientist (see what they have done their kids???)--(your a well paid scientist ) -- sped up a tad , so it sounds like You Will Be Silent . Basically , this is how it is I don't think I've ever not played this at a squat party ,be it 5 people or 500 people this destroys the dancefloor , some of the most over the top relentless 303 carnage ever !!!!! Why aren't there more tunes like this ??? Similar to SKANK and wahwah's acid wah wah wah and dj zebedee's -- weirdo magnet on organgrinder recs - absolutely bangin uk acid techno - as it should be --- enjoy !!! I'll stop ranting now!!! Haha fuck 'em

Just how wicked can electronic music get?!?! This is one of the craziest funky, hard acid techno tunes of all times. Incorporating the original Batman theme with rabid layers of acid and thundering percussion sounds impossible, but it is done, right here. To The Batrave......Let's Go is about as mental as it gets: constantly pushing and erupting sequences ran over by the tongue in cheek Batman lead melody. It is ridiculous how they pulled it off, but wait for that last volcano explosion at 05:15 where everything is just put miles above the limit. Uncontrollable synths go hand in hand with a corny TV series theme and an uncountable BPM rate. Genius at its purest form. You can go ahead and drop this during the peak hours of any acid techno set and watch the crowd go ape shit for full seven minutes!
