This is a classic piece of rocky 80's synth-pop. As both Wendy and lisa were backing singers for Prince, their respective vocals and credentials need not be questioned. Whenever people of a certain age think about the 1980's and rock music from that era, we are usually reminded of tight stone-washed jeans, white Hi-Tech trainers and really big hair not to mention the awful music. This track however, sits very much on the cool side of all things 80's and rock and while it's not that far away from the much maligned classic power rock genre, it has more of an attitude and is therefore, alright by me.
