Wevie Stonder is at it again, mixing seemingly more unintelligent vocal samples of British humor (?) with Big Band sounds. Stoat is just below that thin line of total crap and the ordinary sounds of today’s experimenters. The only decent track is Shredni Vashtar, which appears on their full length making this 7” totally obsolete. I’ve always wondered why SKAM signed Wevie Stonder from the start. They’ve had their moment, the track Volcanoes off the Eat Your Own Ears EP was a great song. It’s sad to see such a great label sink so low as to sign Wevie Stonder.
