Reading the blurb on the back I was hoping I had discovered a proto-Kraftwerkian album. But the years have not been kind to these tunes, to me (without taking into account its history) it sounds like some early Stereolab demo's, or Monty Python outtakes. The most interesting track is the last one, which comes across as an early industrial jam.

One of the best albums of all time [apart from the last track]
Gorgeous, trippy, intelligent electronic pop : )
Criminal that they didn't do anything else together.
And such a shame Vorhaus tarnished the project with poor subsequent releases : (

My copy looks like a reissue on island records, says "stereo 87 715 ET" on top right under "island". Record label is as in ILPS 9099 reissue photo. Nowhere does it state Ariola Eurodisc Benelux B.V.
Record label states "made in holland"
etched on end groove:
side A: "9099-A" and "S 7715-A"
side B: "ILPS 9099-B" and "S 7715-B"

An absolutely unbeliavable masterpiece that was miles ahead of its time and is still available in good record shops (CD). If you think sweeping filters on drumparts have been invented in the trip-hop era you couldn't be more worng. These people have done it before. This is one of the most relevant albums regarding elaborate composition and production techniques in modern music. Very deep listening.

This is the first Techno album in my opinion - first heard this in 1973 and wow what a revelation , the likes of Faust , Can and Amon Düül II (Krautrock at it`s best)couldn`t even come close to this "electric storm" . i am sure the singer is Pal Joey . The tone of the voice on the beautifull "Love Without A Sound" and "My Game Of Loving" are unforgettable. Haven`t heard this voice for over 20 years and hearing Pal Joey immediately made me think of this songs . a true masterpiece . Lost the vinyl during the years . if you wanna sell, contact me..;-)..
