Although PLAY THAT BEAT was Whiz Kid's biggest hit off Tommy Boy, I actually prefer this lesser known electro jam, featuring great early 80s synth work and an addictive female chorus - sounds as freshhhhh now as it did when I first bought the 12" back in 1985 - hard to believe that's over 20 years ago - someone should really license this track and reissue it on the next 80s electro compilation CD to bring it a wider audience it deserves. I read Whiz Kid died in the late 80s? How sad.
