Of all my Ambient artists & tracks I possess, DLP3 by Basinski is one of THE most moving pieces of what i'd call 'Contemporary Classical Music' music I ever owned. Referred to me by a friend of mine, I was immediately immersed in it's Melancholic soundscapes.
Then, having read that this was made amongst those horrific & turbulent times of 9/11 only added to the emotions & power of these pieces.
The beautiful yet melancholic loops heard over 42 mins, diminishing slowly, a reflection of the life this world once had not so long ago. Truly Beautiful!!
