This is Josh Wink at his best with funky, acid squelching, beats. This man from Philly brought you one of the best acid house/deep house/dirty house lables ever, Ovum Recordings. There is an "Easter Egg" contained on this CD, try ripping it with Windows Media. There is a mix by DR. LEKTROLUV which madly syncs up with the album, tunes from album contained in mix. The mix by DR. LEKTROLUV is available for purchase which is extended.

This one of those albums which is really wonderful listening experience despite it the fact that it really doesn't offer anything radically new, innovative, or surprising. For Josh, acid never left in the first place – he has always supported acid house, as he points out in the album booklet. One of the main reasons why this album is so good is that this album is Josh concentrating on the tunes which are for DJs to play and he has been able to do things which he really loves. Don’t be confused when this is called "mini album" or even EP because this is way better (and longer) than most techno albums. Let's not get into describing the tracks because they are better to be heard but I want the express my personal disappointment because of the fact that 'Freak' is featured on this album. Even tough it is a good tune, it was released much earlier than this album, it's available on numerous compilations and it was even included earlier on Wink's DJ mix 'Profound Sounds Vol. 2' on the unmixed second CD. Musically, it's more techy than the other tracks and the fact that it's in the end of the album increases the "filler" appearance. Oh well, never mind about that. This one is a blast!
