Next to Luisine, Wisp is by far and away one of the finest producers of IDM/D'n'B/Electronic music. Indeed, his production techniques are flawless, while his programs, beats, percussion, and synth sounds are light years above the status quo.
NRTHNDR is, from start to finish, a sound adventure. Headphones are essential to the experience -- a lush, slick and spellbinding rocker that never fails to engage the listener. But what do I know, I just finished up my 12th consecutive listen...

Ever since I first heard Wisp, I compared his sound to that of Aphex Twin's Richard D. James Album. For some that would be the highest of compliments, but it is well deserved on Wisp's behalf. On this album he does no messing around. From beginning to end he brings flawless and beautiful melodies, and an over all wonderfully produced sound. His signing was way overdue, and things can only get better from here on out.
