this album caused something of a stir when it was first released, being hyped as "the first turntablist album"... wether this is true or not I cannot confirm, but the fact of the matter is that this is less of an album and more of a compilation of singles. there are some great scratches here, but in comparison to the work of the invisibl skratch piklz and their members, this just seems like an excercise in technique and not much else - this just lacks the wit and depth of q-bert and his cohorts.
