Free with the January 2001 issue of Mixmag.
Heavy influence from the west coast of America, featuring a couple of hot remixes from the H-Foundation. This cd really got me into this style of house music.
Overall the cd has a party vibe throughout, with some excellent saxophone jamming on the X-press 2 mix of Wet Dreams being the mixes centrepoint and for me the climax (no pun intended!)
I have friends who are into breaks, techno, hip hop, whatever, who all have requested a copy of this cd from me and who all play it regularly.
With artists like Onionz, H-Foundation, Derrick Carter,Inland Knights (etc, etc, etc) featured, it is no wonder the outcome is such a quality introduction to house music.
