Óðinn Örn Hilmarsson

Born 2nd of November 1989 in Reykjavik, Iceland, to composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson and artist Guðrun Sigríður Haraldsdottir, Hilmarsson is a young but ambitious musician. Having been playing gigs since he was at the age of 12, playing with his godfather Einar Örn's band Ghostigital, he has seen and conquered stage life.
He first began playing trumpet with his best friend when he was 10, then moved to guitar and moved to bass and drums, then other instruments, even international ones. His taste and love of music spreads widely from the underground death metal bands to high profile post-punk bands, from atmospheric beautiful music to screaming little kids with black hair and thick rimmed glasses.
He currently lives in London and plays in a wide-toned heavy metal band SoulCatcher, who are working on their first album and gigging around north-east london in places like Leytonstone and Forest Gate. His hopes are that his understanding of all the different genres and that his experiance can lift him to great heights in music. . .
