Keyboardist/pianist for the Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir. He played in no bands before Dimmu Borgir. His first live performances with Dimmu Borgir were at the Dynamo Open Air festival in the summer of 1998.
In 2000, he played the synth on the demo "Illusions of Evil" for the Norwegian black/thrash metal band Susperia.
