David bowie corporotised him self and his music past and present as an inestemnt bond and his worth at death was £50 million ,he would be proud at the value of his vinyls post his death,as they didnt press that many on the first run.

999 euros.

it's a little wonder.

Dear David, Thanks for all. RIP in our hearts.
Answering last message: 'David would be ashamed by a 999€ cle blackstar lp 1st ed. '
Not sure at all ...
1. David was generous, may be it could be seen as the last gift to his core fans... He knew that before his death! He was good in finance!
Don't know how much Î spend for him!
For me blackstar cle lp 1st édition is 'WHITOUT PRICE''anymore!! It means more than 999€ !!

2. David was a leader ... he wanted to be number one... once again he's still!

3. Now this record is à *piece of history"

Ï clearly understand people don't want to pay so much... so please buy a black one or wait for reissues

David, rest in our hearts

Ps : i ve made some stats. Just before his death 67k units related to Bowie were on sale here ...
One hour later it cuts down 66k units, 4 hours later 64 units, 62 k units after une day .... The lower points was 3-4 days later around 59k units. Now we are around 62k...
More than 10k units a week!
An other number 1!

Sincerely yours

Well my friends, I have been buying lots of vinyl over the past 6 months or so....things I gave away to Oxfam before moving to BCN....and now regret big time!!!I had lots of Bowie and I haven't noticed any post mortem mark ups or 'Skyrocketing prices'. Most sellers are honest music lovers like me......

hey rharris07--i'm a seller on discogs and I've sold 4 LP's since his death. I take exception to your remarks---I didn't mark up any of the Bowie records on Discogs...didn't need to or want to. I have several Bowie LP's to list but haven't been rushing to get them online since his death....we are ALL upset and ALL a bit angry at the villain in the room, cancer.
Your comment is directed to ALL sellers which isn't fair or reasonable. Calling sellers scumbags is not a nice comment either. I agree that people should wait until the demand trails off but don't assume that us sellers are taking advantage of anything more than just trying to make good music available to all buyers....most of us are collectors, too and we don't want to pay high prices for an artist because they have passed away. Good luck with your record search and with getting a handle on your anger.

These skyrocketing prices for Bowie records is insane. They didn't become more limited all of a sudden, there are a million and one pressings of almost every album - so why are these sellers being such scumbags and trying to charge upwards of 8 to 12 times more than the average sale price? Come on people, don't buy into this nonsense. Let them try to gouge for a while, don't buy from them, and then the prices will drop back to normal. What a shitty thing to do - mark up all your Bowie records on Discogs as soon as you see he has died.

LIKE if you actually bought a Bowie album AFTER 1983!

"My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things to store everything in there"

discogs delete the option to buy the vinyl (limited clear) ...
