NATHAN CROW, born Jon Lyons Terlep, is an America-born Songwriter, Record Producer and performer.  He legally changed to Nathan Crow in 1981.  Crow began his career in 1976 under his original name Jon Terlep as bass player in a reunion of the 60's seminal rock band SPIRIT, who, along with founding members Randy California (guitar,) Ed Cassidy (drums) and John Locke (keyboards, toured North America and the U.K., heading arenas and large clubs, and opening for Peter Frampton in 120,000 outdoor venues, including Toronto's Harbourfront Stadium.

In 1981, Nathan Crow, then known as Jon Lyons, joined Columbia Records' group TOMMY TUTONE and was the bass player on the huge hit "867-5309/Jenny."  

Beginning in 1999, Nathan Crow began a successful plantinum-selling career writing songs for and/or producing a number of Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated artists that include MEAT LOAF featuring BRIAN MAY from QUEEN, ("Heroes," 1993); TOBY KEITH ('No Honor Among Thieves," 1994); BIZZY BONE from the group BONE THUGS 'N HARMONY("Blade 4 Glory," 1999); ERIC CLAPTON ("I Have Found the Girl," 2002); SUSAN ASHTON featuring MARK KNOPFLER ("Anywhere But Here," 2003); Ronan Keating ("Caught" and "Run Free," 2003); JOANNA(Pacitti) "This Crazy Life," 2005); the band ENVOY ("Innuendos," "Look So Pretty,""I've Got a Way" "My Confidence, " 2006); GIGI SWEET ("Sneaky," "Gramma's House," "Sweet Face," "Free 4 All," "V.I.P.," "Shame Train," "Bumble Bee," "Sugarcane," "Sir May I Have Another," "Feel," "Bloodtrotter" 2009) Nathan Crow also recorded two Albums by Nashville-based Americana rock group THE CROCKETTS that also featured singer-songwriter Greg Barnhill and guitarist Joe Psapia, most recently a member of the group GUSTER.

Early 1980s: TOMMY TUTONE
In 1981, Nathan Crow, then known under the performing name JON LYONS became a member of the group TOMMY TUTONE  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Tutone  http://www.allmusic.com/artist/tommy-tutone-p5717  Jon Lyons toured with the group throughout 1981 and then recorded the group's second album Tutone 2 for Columbia Records.  Lyons is the bass player on the hit recording "867-5309/Jenny" from the album Tutone 2.
