16 Volt

Profile:
16 Volt, formed in 1988 is the solo project of Eric Powell with assistance from Mike Peoples (Bass), Kraig Tyler (Guitar) and John DeSalvo (Drums) primarily for live shows.

Their early original material ("Wisdom", "Skin" and "LetDownCrush") was released by Re-constriction Records. After the release of their third album in 1996 Eric parted ways with Re-constriction Records and his fourth album "SuperCoolNothing" was released by Slipdisc Records in 1998.

In 2000 a collection of the bands early demos was released as "Demography". In 2003 the band made a cameo appearance in the PS" game Primal as well as providing the games combat music.

They released no further original material until 2007s "FullBlackHabit" which was the beginning of the groups relationship with Metropolis. Their fifth album "American Porn Songs", also on Metropolis was released in 2009.

The albums "Wisdom", "Skin, "LetDownCrush", "SCN V2.0" (a re-release of "SuperCoolNothing" featuring a bonus disc of remixes), "Demography", "The Best Of Sixteen Volt" and "The Official Primal Combat Soundtrack" can be downloaded for free at the bands offical website.
