Babe Ruth are best known for 'The Mexican', based around Ennio Morricone's whistled theme to the 1965 Sergio Leone movie 'For a Few Dollars More' (not 'A Fistful of Dollars'). Check my comment on the UK (or master) release of the band's 1972 debut album 'First Base' for the complete history of this song and its significance both within the hiphop scene and beyond.

In the Seventies, Babe Ruth (who hailed from Hatfield) provided one of the first b-boy breaks with The Mexican, featuring a classic Fistful Of Dollars theme on lead guitar.
