Danity Kane
Profile: | Danity Kane was an American girl group signed to Bad Boy Records. They were formed on the MTV's Making the Band 3, which is the third installment of the reality series that documented the manufacturing of a modern urban girl group. The group's first single "Show Stopper" and subsequent self-titled debut album were released in 2006. The group returned in spring 2008 with its second release, "Welcome to the Dollhouse", amid continued reports of division within the five original members. On October 7th of the same year, on Making The Band 4, it was officially announced that Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods were no longer members of the group; the rest of the group disbanded soon after. Dawn Richard went on to join Diddy's twosome Diddy - Dirty Money, before ultimately releasing music as a solo artist.
