8Bit, known for his hardcore techno and music videos, was born after an all-night psychedelia induced Frankie Bones Brooklyn outlaw (the notorious STORM RAVES). Oliver Chesler (aka The Horrorist/Disintergrator of Industrial Strength Records) heard an early demo a young Cihan Kaan created entirely on the Amiga 500. Unbenounced to Mr. Chelsler, Cihan 8bit had sampled, manipulated and arranged the entire mixdown using the 8Bit outputs of the ancient 68000 Amiga box. Thus the name and music began. Since then, several international relseases from Digital Hut Records and other various CD compilations have surfaced with tracks bearing the 8Bit name. His website archives many of these older underground releases as well as newer productions. 8Bit Productions continues to make music videos and films.
