Over 70 musicians performed "live" on the AKB LP "Rhythmic Feet." It represents the end of a musical era of lushly-orchestrated studio artists, prior to digital sampling recording techniques being employed. It included the 12 inch single "Stand Up Sit Down," regarded as a classic dance title from 1979, just before a major change in attitude occurred toward this musical genre. "Goin Downtown" and the title track "Rhythmic Feet" are other fine examples of the way dance music used was originally produced with real musicians performing the tracks.
