In the summer of 1995, the band was founded by Sven de Caluwe (vocals). However, it took some time to find members for the band. In 1997, Sven finally found Niek (guitarist) and Steve (drums), and they had a few gigs with bands such as Deranged and Vomitory. Not long after this, they found Koen (bass) and recorded "The Necrotorous Chronicles". About 300 records were made and it sold out in 4 months.
Soon Christophe (guitars) joined the band and more concerts were done with Dying Fetus, Enthroned, Ectopia, Goddess of Desire, Impedigon and Houwitser. Steve was replaced by Frank due to lazyness. In 1999 they recorded and released their first full-length, "The Purity of Perversion" and later in 2000 they recorded 3 tracks for a split with Christ Denied. The split got them a deal for 3 more albums with the french based Listenable Records.
In 2001 they released the mighty "Engineering the Dead" and did another split, "Created to Kill" with Drowning, Brodequin and Misery Index. Nick and Koen were later replaced with Bart (from belgian Death act Suhrim) and Frederik (former Impedigon). "Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done" followed in 2003. After the release Frank left the band and was replaced by Gilles Delecroix. The band then released the EP "The Haematobic" in 2004.
