Activate!

Real Name:
Alexander Stiepel, Andreas Hoetter, Mike Griesheimer, Thomas Detert
Profile:
The project was established in the year 1994 by 4 German producers and songwriters who called themselves the A-Team.
The debut-single from 666 Alarma is a remake of the Activate-song with the same name.

The group is a trio : 2 rappers (Mike and Thomas themselves) and a female singer Helen Smith.
Their first single to be released was Save Me in 1994.
Then followed in 1995 the hits Let The Rhythm Take Control, I Say What I Want, Inside And Outside and Tell Me.
Then the first and only album was released : Visions.
In the middle of 1996 the very disappointing track Rhythm And Drums was released.
Anticipating Eurodance's decrease of popularity, they wanted to introduce a new style but the single flopped all over the world.
Then they decided to give up Activate and to establish the 666 project.
