Alex Stark

Alek Stark is the main alias of Serafín Gallego. Born (as alias) at the end of 90s, Alek Stark is the man who mixed the Electro and old school Hip Hop (in the 80s he was a B-boy) with the basslines of the Synthethic Disko from the 80s. One of the best result of this sound combination is the full lenght "Highway To Disko", released in the autumn of 2002 on german label Disko B. In 1999, with Moockie aka Neonwerk, Alek has founded a project called Star Whores on his first own label, Headspin. Only one year after they decided to use the same name of project (Star Whores, inspired from the film Star Wars) also for a new label. Star Whores Records was born in 2000 but the first CD was release in 2001. Shortly Star Whores Records has become one of the best Electro spanish platforms, with a lot of artists like Dark Vektor, Women Affair, Neonwerk, Robert Calvin, Boris Divider, DJ Split and Sace 2 only to name a few. At the end of 2009 Alek Stark, definitely one of the pioneers of the Electro scene in Spain, founded a new label called 158.8MHz Records and started a new mission for release more music by himself and by artists from every parts of world.
