Fabio Carrara aka Alex Bartlett started his career as dj, with his real name Fabietto, as resident dj in his home town Bergamo (Italy) in 1990, when he was very young.
Few years later thanks to his great ability, the experience as resident dj drove him to play in the top italian clubs such as Matis, Titanic, Cellophane, Gheodrome, Insomnia, Ultimo Impero, Duple', Cocorico' and many more...

Fabio is really keen on music and technology since he was very young, and after some years he started to develop his own recording studio and to become familiar with computers, mixer, sampler and keyboards. And in 2001 he started his career as producer with ‘Amnesia’, a single that became an anthem and it was played by all the top dj’s in many many clubs and events and it was a radio hit, too.
We can say that the inspiration of this track comes from the combination between the Pop music’world with its voices and melodic sounds ,with the techno-trance research for new rhythms and dreaming atmospheares of the clubs.
This production has been carried out in the Symsonic recording studios and the first release was completed by two important remixes: The Green Court and the Flutlicht ‘ones.

Thanks to ‘Amnesia’, which quickly climbed the worldwide charts, Alex Bartlett became one of the most requested guest and he attended the top clubs and international events such as StreetParade, LoveParade, Thunderdome rave, Brainshock and started touring around the world; Europe, Asia, America...

Alex Bartlett is the producer of many tracks, both under his own name and under different pseudonyms: Dj Air, Fabietto Dj, Lyala, Princes of Trance, Next Generation, Alan Dexter, Andy Guess, Anthya and more... His productions are always remixed by top dj’s such as: Rank1, Mike Push, Martin Roth, Gareth Emery, CJ Stone, Dumonde, Talla 2XL... He’s really requested as remixer, and he did it for Mass in Orbit, Miss Jane and the official Street Parade Anthem.

Among his latest singles we have ‘Touch the Sun’, a vocal trance song, remixed by Rank1 and Duende, released in 2007. It was one of the most played trance track in the clubs, in the radio shows , top seller on Beatport, Juno and Dance Tunes, and it was supported by Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz, Matt Darey, Lange, Gareth Emery, Rank 1, Solar Stone.
While ‘Universe Inside’, released with his new talent producer Andy Guess on Drizzly Records, was supported by Matt Darey, Sander Van Doorn, Cor Fijneman, Christopher Lawrence, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Talla 2XLC, Mike / Push, Graham Gold, Jon O’Bir, Suzi Solar, DJ Elof...
His latest single ‘Off the World’, co produced with Martin Roth, has been released on Vandit Records with the Gareth Emery’, Lange and Super 8 & Tab’ remixes.
During his dj sets he always focuses his attention on the dance floor and he loves to play extended dj-sets in order to build up better the atmosphere of the performance and let everybody live a unique special experience through the music. His sound comes from techno and goes towards electro-trance.
