Alex K (Alexandre Aspisi)

Alex K, born Alex Karbouris on the 29th of November 1979, is an Australian DJ and Producer. At the ripe young age of 16 he was signed up by Central Station Records. By 21, he had quickly risen to the top of the Australian dance scene after proving his talent as a trance, hard-house and NRG DJ/Producer/Remixer.

Best known to listeners of the aspirant dance radio station "Wild FM", Alex is the man responsible for many of the megamixes that appear on the Wild FM CD series. Since contributing his inaugural mix on "Wild FM Volume 4", he has become a regular feature on Australia's most popular dance compilation series.

Alex was a resident DJ at Melbourne's super club "QBH", reputed to be the largest nightclub in the southern hemisphere and has since travelled across the country appearing at many of the biggest dance parties known to Australia.

Not content with just spinning the latest dance-floor anthems, Alex also produces his own original material of which the first fruits of his labour can be seen and heard on his CD series "Kickin' Hard" for Central Station Records.

Alex K's discography includes the hits "Passion", "Kick It", "Pussy Whipped", "U Got It", "Shake It Up", "Bounce! Bounce!" and "Weppa! (The String Song)". He has also completed remixes for the likes of Bardot and Jackson Mendoza as well as collaborating with Amen (UK), De Funk, Kumara, Nina and Marianne to name just a few.
