Aleksey Strelnikov (aka Protector Hood) was born in Rostov-on-Don, in 1983. He developed through different arts and was engaged in painting and photography being a teenager. Later, musical art has caught him, he played on a bass guitar in alternative rock group at school, then in a college. Behind the stage, Alex had some experimental electronic music projects on a computer, one of them was ‘Protector Hood’, so that’s his second nickname now.

Searching for the perfect reflection of innerself, trying different genres and styles, he finally stopped on Techno. “I think my feelings and thoughts could be expressed in techno music the most exciting way, because it’s the closest to my internal experiences genre. In fact, music shouldn’t bear power only, it should tell a story, and have a sense in it, a message. I try to achieve it each time i make something. Everything goes from soul, depends on the mood!”
