Expat Aussie Andrew Bergen, aka Andrez, has resided in Tokyo since 2001 and makes music under a host of aliases including Little Nobody, Funk Gadget, Schlock Tactile, Curvaceous Crustacean, etc.
Freelance music journalist, Andrez also hacks together sounds both solo and with mates as DJ Fodder, the LN Elektronisch Ensemble, Veronica du Lac, and Dick Drone, and he helms Melbourne/Tokyo label IF? Records.
He's played live in Tokyo, London, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Beijing, Windsor (Canada), in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane - and especially Melbourne, his old stomping ground - alongside bods like Coldcut, Luke Vibert, Squarepusher, Scanner, Jeff Mills, Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Ian Pooley, Biochip C, Neotropic, Voiteck, Steve Law, Claude Young, Heiko Laux, Miss Kittin, Jammin' Unit, Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Tim "Love" Lee, Pilote, and Sub Bass Snarl.
