A. Moor

Andy Moor is one of those producers with a sound all of his own, and for those who are at all familiar with his productions, that sound is built upon a driving, fuzzy bassline that leaves speaker systems everywhere begging for mercy. His groove dominated productions are incredibly powerful, with the bass often taking centre stage over any synths or vocal effects present, meaning they are more progressive as opposed to ‘orthodox’ trance in terms of style. But make no mistake; Moor can do melodies too, and do them well. There are the magical, glistening melodies of the Original Mix of ‘Halcyon’, which are generously sprinkled on top of that grinding groove, and of course the hybrid colossus that is ‘Air For Life’ (written and produced with Above & Beyond), arguably one of trance’s finest moments. A highly recommended producer.
