Andy Page is in a league of his own. I'll let his music do the talking (and a lot of it really does "talk" :) )
Just listen to tracks like Porcelain Elvis, Serpent, Vermouth, SQAP (feat. Sean Quinn), Don't Die Don't Kill Anyone (together with Phil K. under the name HiFi Bugs), and his remix of De-Mystified and you will HEAR the difference between this man and the rest of the pack. Not to mention, I can't help but wonder how many other tracks he has in the likeness of 'Alien' & 'Skin Up' that have been heard for years now, but are still unreleased. (Why, Andy?!)
I understand that everyone has their own personal relationship with music, but the intrinsic purpose of music is to be shared and it is very disappointing that Andy Page has not released more of his music. Personally, I believe that talent is nothing if it goes unshared. You have to make your mark.
There are DJs and producers with less than half of Andy Page's skill & talent who are playing gigs all over the World right now. Maybe that isn't what he wants. Maybe he simply wishes to stay by his music gear and tinker around, but I hope and wish that he would, at least, Put Out More Music! For the sake of spreading good music, if for nothing else!
Hands-down, Andy Page is one of my favorite Electronic music producers and one of my biggest inspirations.
