Growing up in the South Bronx, New York, USA, Antonio, from a young age, was exposed to such varied rhythms, and music genres such as, Soul, Funk, Latin, Rap, Jazz, and religious African music.
In his early teens, Ocasio met a local DJ by the name of Rookie, who thought him his trade.
Despite being present at some of the seminal New York clubs of the 'classic' era, Antonio insists; "I did not go to either one of those clubs to hang out with David Mancuso, Larry Levan or Jellybean Benitez. I went to listen to some dope music and........ DANCE! From an early age I’ve Learned how to Dance from Within."
His label, Tribal Winds, is his attempt to create the music "in his heart"
