| Profile: | DJ since 1995, resident of various french nights (Euphoria, Terrifiance, Karakoram III, 666...), ARMAGUET NAD has first been known on the hardcore tekno scene for his active contribution as a party organizer. Amongst various contributions, he’s enabled the french audience to discover groundbreaking DJ’s such as Liza N'Eliaz, Lenny Dee, Manu Le Malin, Loftgroover, Syl, Joker or DJ Radium.
DEAD END’s label cofounder (with DJ Radium and Alcore) and founder of the extremely hardcore labels S.O.D.O.M. (Slaves Of Devil Our Master), H.I.V. (Hardcore Intuitive Virus), KOMUM, SANS PITIE and the new-born, GO MORE CORE (all of which are united under the aegis of M.I.L.K and SAN KOM DOM RISKY MUSIC Productions), ARMAGUET NAD definitely stands as one of the main elements of nowadays underground hardcore tekno growing culture.
FIST OF FURY first distinguishes himself in 1987 as a thrash death metal drummer. Main influences : metal (Sepultura, Pantera, Obituary, Athéist...) and industrial bands (Ministry, Godflesh…).
A first EP (deah-metal) is released in 1989, shortly followed by an lp in 1990 (with the band Astral Rising), as well as numerous gigs & demos with bands such as Spectral Presence, Antithesis, Inside....
1992 : revelation. FIST OF FURY discovers the hardcore & tekno sound and culture.
First sampler in 1994. First compilations in 1995 : Hardcore Fever 2 and 4, Hardcore Techno Mania 3. FIST OF FURY, now totally apart of the electronic hardcore scene, plays live in Paris and abroad and records his first vinyl track on the Magma As Peak label.
In 1996, he organizes various nights in Paris and its suburbia and collaborates to different musical schemes alongside
DJ Korrigan (K.Bal Sound System) and Armaguet Nad.
In 1999, First Hard Techno project under the ARCANE concept and creation of the LABYRINTH label. Birth of PHANTASM RECORDS, strictly hardcore label.
In 1997, both artists (Armaguet Nad & Fist Of Fury) meet for the very first time on an antinuclear musical demonstration. It’s the beginning of an extremely happy collaboration with the mythical SODOM 005. Numerous projects will follow on ARMAGUET NAD’s labels.
In 1998, whilst recording the very cult double vinyl, Digital Bible 1.1' (with DJ V.I.T.R.I.O.L. in THE DROOGIES three piece, released on H.I.V. 005 LP01), FIST OF FURY and ARMAGUET NAD come up with an audacious musical experiment, fuelled with philosophical energy and soberly named :
ART IS ANAL!!!
The impact is phenomenal. ART IS ANAL spreads its dark wings on various labels such as HIV, Epileptik, Dead End, Neurotoxic and more recently on the wicked Go More Core 003.
The future starts now and it belongs to them…
