What can we say about Astral Projection... Astral Projection is the most known group in goa history. Astral Projection is a group of two artists from Israel: Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter, this is also their main project. Their side-projects was only on the first two "Trust In Trance" (1994, 1995) compilations and on the compilation called "Trust In Trance - The Next Millenium" (1998). Before their create Astral Projection (with Yaniv Haviv, but he left the band after "The Astral Files" release in 1996) their was involved in SFX project.
Astral Projection in my life... Astral Projection is absolutely my favourite music group. I discovered this project and a whole goa/psytrance music in 2002. Since that I love Astral Projection for their incredible emotions which are on their every release and every track - without that on the "Ten" CD, because this is not their really CD - it's a CD with remixes of old Astral Projection's tracks made by other artists from trance scene. While this is a crap - the other CD's with "Astral Projection" in the name (and CD's with "Trust In Trance") are so good that I don't know how to describe it. It's so fantastic!... In my private top-10 of the best goa tracks - everyone is from this group! "Let There Be Light", "People Can Fly", "Kabalah", "Maian Dream", "No One Ever Dreams", "Flying Into A Star", "Liquid Sun", "Andromeda", "12.000 Suns", "Nilaya" - in my opinion if you don't know this tracks than you don't know what goa music is.
Thank you Astral Projection. Thank you Avi Nissim. Thank you Lior Perlmutter. And thank you God for their music!

Formed in 1993 , they were quite probably the first to bring goa trance to the masses and became the first world-wide known (goa) trance band. There most noted tracks are Mahadeva, Innovation, Power Gen, Kabalah, Let There Be Light and People Can Fly. There album Trust in Trance should be in every Goa collection as for me is one of the pinnacles in trance. Later in the years they were accused of never changing their sound. Yes, I agree with it to some point; and there album Ten in 2004 was a bit of disappointment being it all remix work of their old super-hits from other trance artists.
Anyway, in the glory days of Goa, A.P. where the gods of music, and whatever they do, they will always be followed by their world-wide fans.
