The new wave of goa trance hasn't been too much to celebrate about I reckon, the songwriting is often very rushed and chaotic without a good sense to craft melodies that stick to your head and make you fly, so to speak.
But Astrancer brings light in the dark. He offered a major old school work out "Dzog Chen" on the otherwise forgettable Pyramidal Trancendence. This track builds and builds teasing the listener, slowly he adds layers upon layers, a few times breaking the tempo in a great fashion. In the end there's a great climax.
Hopefully we get to hear more from this talented artist!
