Atbann Klann

Willonex (or Will 1 X) and Apl. De Ap met in eighth grade and formed a break-dance crew, and later began performing music as Atbann Klann. The original line up consisted of Willonex, Apl. De Ap, Mookie Mook, DJ Motiv8 and Dante Santiago, and also contained production and input from future Crazy Town founding member Epic Mazur. Only one single was released (in 1994), and this was a Promo only single. The album, Grassroots, was completed and recorded in the early 90's but, due to label politics and label head Eazy-E's death in 1995, the album was never released.

After leaving Ruthless Records, Willonex and Apl. De Ap joined forces with Taboo (9) and became the Black Eyed Peas. After signing with Interscope Records, Willonex changed his name to Will I Am shortly after.
