Definitely one of the most talented producers of contemporary electronic music and the originator of the term Advanced Sampling (tm) for good reason. I like the idea of Uwe Schmidt being a victim of alien abduction in his young years and having his brain replaced by an extraterrestrial style sampling device instead. Although recent activities as Senior Coconut have brought him dangerously close to mainstream-radar detection ranges his countless other manifestations fortunately remain way beyond that, making his records precious collector items. However, the best thing IMHO is that it's all being served with a healthy pinch of dry humour. So, why don't you sit down, relax, have a coffee? :)
