During the years August played the bass on more than 18 jazz and electronic/experimental recordings, including his own bands "Band of Inner Urge" (Storyville records), Police Beat Box (Cheap), Mobile (Cheap), Warum sollten wir angst vor grossen Tieren haben (Musicsystem) e.t.c.

He further more did deliver tracks for several compilations and made tool records for the label and production group MusicsysteM, which he is a memeber of. In June 2000 he made the music for the 8 hour long art movie "The Wake" by Christian Lemmerz and Michael Kvium, in collaboration with composer Dror Feiler and DJ Wunderbaum. The Elektrazz band which he founded, is releasing it's first album on the frankfurt label multicolor summer 2001. The Mindspray album project, that August has recently been involved in, will be released in fall 2001. Mind spray is a band consisisting of Peter Laugesen, DJ Wunder Baum and trumpeter Lars Vissing. August plays a lot: a band leader, DJ (DJ tennis), computer-musician, composer and bass player educated at the New School of Contemporary Music in New York, aswell as in private lessons with a bass master in Havanna, Cuba.

He is at the moment involved in following touring live band projects around the world: Elektrazz (Multicolor), DJ Tennis (Musicsystem), Police Beat Box (Cheap), Mobile (Cheap) Mr. Atomheart's Senor Coconut band (MultiColor), Louie Austen (Cheap), Mindspray (Borgen) and with the live performances of the Wake film as a DJ and improvising computer sound maker.
