Founded in 1995 by Enrico Eisert under the name Thorn (14) and changed later into Axon Neuron. After several tape releases on the self founded label Ragnarune they released their first CDr "Torrents Of Hagalaz" in 1998 under the name Axon Neuron/Vagwa. Enrico Eisert collaborated with Weisskreuz in 1997 and N.O.P. in 1998. Since 2002 the live line-up of Axon Neuron/Vagwa featured members of the band Aurum Nostrum on drums, keyboards and vocals. Also in 2002 Axon Neuron / Vagwa collaborated with the French project Nocturne (2) under the alias Europaplan. In 2004 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released their first vinyl mini album "Lohe" via the Berlin based label Eternal Soul Records followed by the double CD retrospective ":Documents 1995-2005:" on the same label. This album includes the track „Aurora“ in collaboration with the Italian band Kirlian Camera in which Enrico Eisert was a live keyboardist for some concerts during the „Mission K-Pax Tour“. In 2007/2008 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released a series of limited edition CDs called „Archive“ and several 3“ CDs via the Ragnarune Mailorder. The final part „Archive Part III“ is planned for release in 2009 as well as a „Archive“ boxset.
