Reviews & Discussion

As with many a d&b producer/artist, BC have a plethora of unreleased tracks from around the time of the first album release that are just simply awsome. My favourite being "Rotor", absolutely gutted that this will never see the light of day, especially as all i now have of this tune is a memory.

Inside The Machine is easily my favourite d'n'b album, and i think its still better than any subsequent material by the original 4-piece.However,BCUK and Fresh seem to be doing good on their own so no complaints from me.The only tune that competes by BC outside the first album in my opinion is The Pulse, simply because there was nothing like it when it came out in '99.I would have said Planet Dust, but i don't count it as BC because even though its under the BC name,if you check the credits its just Fresh.Still a classic though,no question.

Influential, original beats, make Bad Company what they are. They are influential in many ways, including the fact that they are a group. The sound of Bad Company is a more, dark, rough beat. Very good, and recommended for any dnb fan.

What Death Metal is for Rock'n'Roll is Bad Company for Drum'n'Bass. The sound of bad company is ruff and very hard and rough. Not for D'n'B beginners.

absolutely the most important drum'n'bass act after the ed rush & optical "tech step [oh yes, forward] revolution". no any doubt about that.sometimes i think it's better to have even 5 members (unlike most electronic artist who work on their own... ;)) which makes this group really innovative and creative.

if you haven't heard )E|B( or are on the verge of checking them out, i strongly recommend you hit up their material as soon as possible. the Company are definitely one of the most innovative and influencial act in the drum and bass scene of today, and one of the best as well.

Bad Companies list of appearances says it all. Who else do you know that has appeared on that many albums. I think all would agree that Bad Company are among the few who continue to push the limits and boundaries and have shaped the drum n bass sound into what it is today...
Fabulous, amazing, great...just great

If there is a band out there that can make drum 'n' bass that is bigger, noisier, nastier and just plain better than these geezers, I would certainly like to hear them. They even managed to make the classic 'Champion Sound' by Q-Project sound better. Monsterous.
