| Real Name: | Stefano Albanese & Girolamo Curinga | | Profile: | In 1999, united by the same passion, Stefano Abanese and Jerry k decide to enter in the world of productions and just one year later, with a collaboration with Roberto Carbonero, give the way to a plan they called “THE BASE BOYS”. They dedicate much time to listen old vinyls by which they start to take many inspirations joining old and new.
They mix sounds arrive from old school, taking several music shadings; through deep, funky for arriving to electronic.
Their sound distinguish them by searching and originality, their style is characterized by hypnotic groove, that with eclectic sonority, make the music of impact and atmosphere. With the pass of the years, Stefano and Jerry make their works at the height of international artists.
One of production that contribute to give them visibility in music contests is “The Base EP”, their first double EP. Work characterized by 9 traks , two of them are “The base 80s” and “Groove tech”. Theese avail themself of “Richenel's” vocal collaboration (“Dance Around the world”1986).
By this moment their following productions and remixes are the result of intensive work and music research, some of them appear on compilations known in all over the world; look: Fabric 06- Tyler Stadius (Fabric London) with “Another Kind of dream”; Independance Tech-House (Independance Records) with “Groove tech”; Music: Public Property mixed by Francesco Farfa (Serial Killer Vinyl) with “The base EP”; Antoine Clamaran (Fine Tune) with “Metamorphic Allegory”... in 2005 Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo use the voice of “The Base 80s” realising “Out of there” appeared on Wowie Zowie ( Twisted).
In 2005 Stefano Alabanese and Jerry k open the “Snake beat records” so they can make music like they want and way out their ideas without limits.
