Bassface

Sascha Dürk (aka Bassface Sascha) truly is the one drum&bass pioneer in germany. Back in 1991 he aroused in cooperation with Holger (Groover) Klein, a break-beat-hysteria in the Rhine-Neckar-area (radiating from the milk!-club in Mannheim) which soon reached Frankfurt (XS-club). just one year later, sascha played at the Mayday and it was the very first Drum&Bass set at a german megarave. Since then he has been playing all around the globe and has become an essential part of big d&b and techno-events like Love Parade, Rave City (Munich), Euphoria (Frankfurt), Meditation, Future Nights and (again) 1997 Mayday "Sonic Empire". In May 1997 he started his own weekly radio-show "Reload" on Evosonic radio and from January 1999 Sascha is going to do his own weekly show "Outbreak" on HR/XXL. He also appeared several times on MTV and VIVA as a guest VJ.
