Bastian Ahrenz

In 1996 when Sebastian Ahrens started djing he was known for his artist name "Marc Mystic" in the Darmstadt Techno community. After changing his artist name to "Bastian Ahrenz" at the end of 1999 he began thinking about founding a music label to produce and publish his own tracks. After leaving High School (Gymnasium), Bastian Ahrenz and Dirk Hillesheimer founded TausendGroove with its sublabel Dizcotal Records. The very first release ever for Bastian Ahrenz was as co-producer "Generell B." in the Pro2Typez project that released on Dizcotal Records. Bastian Ahrenz was making more and more progress as a DJ booked Germany-wide and as a producer of "Hart-Techno" and "Schranz". His trademark is the bass sound that can be found in various releases on TausendGroove.
