Bernard Jones

Bernard Jones' musical journey started at the age of five, when his grandmother insisted on his classical training in piano. He studied percussion at The University of Missouri under Chris Hollyday at the age of 15. He learned of the art of DJing through local DJs and first started experimenting in producing house in 2000. With a few releases under his belt for labels including Lost My Dog in the UK. Kolour, Left Hand Man, Chillin' and Funkfield in the US, Bernard's reputation is starting to grow and more projects are to be expected.

Recently he has paired up with childhood friend and vocalist Brendan Woodard aka Aren B, who has found fame in the United States after being in the final 30 contestants of the TV series 'American Idol' in 2006. Aren is a quickly developing vocalist and songwriter, having performed all over America opening for artists including Tyrese, H-Town and Silk. Working with Bernard the pair have created some vocal house gems which instantly caught the attention of several house music labels.
