Berny

Berny is a Dj & Producer from Padova, Italy.
He started his career in 1998 when he moved from Rome to Padova.
He quickly got a personal style mixing & composing different music
styles.
His music is at the crossing of House and Deep Techno with strong
Acid and Funk influences, and now he's considered amongst the top of
the new wave of Deep House Djs in Italy as long as he keeps himself
away from the commercial trend of the today italian House scene.
After his debut in 2004 on the major italian dance label Airplane
Records with the track "Black Moon", reaching first positions on Steve
Lawler's BBC1 Essential Mix, Berny started to produce also
Downtempo and Chill-House music (more than 200 tracks) which is
still now featured in many Compilations such as Billionaire’s & Twiga’s,
the two most famous italian Fashion Clubs.
As a result of his intelligent production style, Berny has been chosen
since 2007 by Diesel brand has the official Dj for his official parties in
north Italy.
During the last years Berny have been totally concentrated in Studio
with his mate Guru, signing important remixes and their first Artist
Album "Seasons" for their little italian label Tobacco Music and Purha
Records, but most of all focusing their attention on the production of
quality Deep House and Underground music; the result as been the first
release for Berny on Outerspace Records on 2008, "The Walk" and two
important Eps "Rolling" and "Canicola" on Aenaria Music on 2008 and 2009, Label
run by Luca Ricci.
From 2009 Berny is also an Artist of the important Label Seamless
Recordings run by Ben Sowton and Graham Sahara and based in London; his new
Ep released together with his
mate Guru is out from November 2009 and the official single “Choose
One” is featured in most important Ibiza Compilations. Winter 2009 has been very
busy for Berny and Guru; new tracks and remixes are out on Berny's big friend Ale
Zeta Label from Verona Autan Records and a new single re-edited by Luca Ricci
“Shplatten” is featured in new Aenaria Compilation from December 2009.
These days Berny splits his time between Studio work in Padova and
playing gigs in and outside of Italy.
Enjoying a wide range of support from the likes of Satoshi Fumi,
Osamu M, Tony Lionni, Nick Dk, Rulers Of The Deep, Ted Patterson and
Harley & Muscle to name but a few, Berny is without doubt in the front
with today’s innovative up and coming italian "deep" producers,
expect big things.
